Port Adelaide have found a loophole in their guernsey contract which will allow them to celebrate their black and white heritage every time they play.

The clubs say their deal with the AFL doesn’t specify what size the jumper’s branding can be, meaning they can recreate the historic prison bars with an enlarged barcode.

The move comes after the club ditched their Teal V guernseys in favour of the prison bars to celebrate the Showdown win against the Crows in Round 8.

Port Adelaide chairman David Koch says it was a huge win for the club who will proudly wear the big barcodes against Collingwood on Sunday.

“I had a team of my best lawyers and the Cash Cow on this for a number of weeks now,” a smug Koch told Outside Noise.

“It will be great to see Port back in the Black and White.”
