The Collingwood Football club have launched a scathing attack on the NSW judicial system for allowing Jarryd Hayne to appear in prison bars.
The Magpies released a statement a short time ago.
“We are surprised and saddened that there is a renewed attempt to introduce prison bars,” a statement read.
“Only last week we sent Kochie straight back to his ivory tower with his tail between his legs.
“We didn’t think we’d have to hear about prison bars until at least the next ‘Showdown’.
“For the NSW judicial system to use prison bars without our consent is unacceptable.”
