It hasn’t taken Channel 9 long to cash in on the alleged kidnapping of former Australian Test Cricketer Stuart Macgill.
The TV network announced a massive signing for an upcoming mini-series, with Academy Award winner Liam Neeson set to play Stuart Macgill’s dad.
“We are absolutely thrilled that such an brilliant actor was available for this truely iconic Australia role,” a spokesperson for the network said.
“There is no better actor in the world at playing a distressed parent trying to track down there child”.
Channel 9 are yet to confirm rumours that the serious will be called Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Spin Bowlers.
Filming is expected to get underway late this year.
