Port Adelaide have shocked the footy world by changing into North Melbourne jumpers following their loss to the Bulldogs.
It follows last week’s costume change when the Power decided to don their prison bars after the Showdown.
“In a mark of respect to the winning record of the club we thought it would be fitting to wear North Melbourne jumpers when we lose,” a club spokesperson told Outside Noise.
“Losing games is not in our heritage but it’s clearly in North Melbourne’s.”
Port Adelaide chairman David Koch said it was an important statement.
“In this COVID era, you must respect heritage; this is what clubs are built on.”
